The Bioactives group is developing a strategy for government and public health recognition of bioactive compounds as part of the food system to further educate on their importance in the diet and to ultimately unlock new market potential for their application and further innovations. The group explores opportunities to advance their recognition and recommendation in the diet as well as existing gaps in the research that would support these recommendations and remove barriers to continued innovation.
