Caroline Andrews

Bio

Caroline is a Master’s candidate in the Agriculture, Food, and Environment program at the Friedman School. She is the program coordinator for the Food Systems Ideation Lab as well as a research assistant at the Friedman School focused on understanding consumer perceptions of cellular agriculture products. Caroline received her BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Clemson University. Prior to coming to Tufts, she worked as a Product Developer for grocery retailers, most recently at Whole Foods Market. Through this work, she partnered closely with teams throughout the food supply chain, seeing firsthand the intricate processes and systems needed to get food to our tables. Caroline intends to use her professional and academic experiences to help food companies develop and implement programs focused around sustainability and equity.
